Count down to Christmas – Circle of Lights

circle of lights 2Who doesn’t feel like a kid again when being surrounded by thousands of Christmas lights … 4,784 lights to be exact…Since 1945, the monument has been decorated for Christmas and in 1962, with garlands & cables of lights stretching to the top, it was designated as the “world’s largest Christmas tree”. 53 years later, you can enjoy even more magic with 26 giant toy soldiers, 26 peppermint sticks encircling the Monument, 56,700 twinkle lights in the trees illuminating the area’s walkways…And of course, Santa’s workshop.
